The Birth of Starware’s XMAS Bootcamp
It started when Event Inspiration NL asked if we’d ever considered hosting a party at an abandoned airbase. Naturally, the idea had never crossed our minds! However, that one question set all the wheels in motion.
Upon visiting the Vliegveld Twenthe Evenementenlocatie, we were immediately inspired. Surrounded by military references and props, our imaginations went into overdrive, and soon the idea for a Starware XMAS bootcamp was born. This event was all about going back to basics, focusing on discipline and camaraderie.
A Perfect Continuation of Our Starware Tradition & a Surprise for Frank
This concept aligned perfectly with our previous gathering in April, where we worked on the health and stamina of the Starware Crew at the Olympisch Stadion Amsterdam.
But the real cherry on top was the surprise for our beloved Frank, who was celebrating his 25th anniversary at Starware. We ‘kidnapped’ him from his hotel room and took him in an old military Jeep Willy to a real airbase. There, a helicopter awaited him. As we landed, Frank was greeted with a real bagpipe player, a military salute from the team, and a series of well-deserved medals to honour his incredible journey with us.
What followed was an unforgettable day filled with surprises! You’ll have to watch the movie to see everything that made this a jam-packed, one-of-a-kind event 😉.
