Last week was an unforgettable one. Not just because of WTF, but also because it was time for our annual Starware Days! Once a year, our entire team from across the globe (including colleagues from Australia, Canada, Hungary, Germany, and beyond) comes together to reconnect, collaborate, and celebrate.
We all gathered at Hotel Nassau Breda, Autograph Collection on Monday morning to kick things off with our annual company presentation, followed by some co-working time to get back into the groove with familiar faces. In the afternoon, we swapped laptops for dance shoes and headed to the park for a breakdance workshop, a fun and unexpected twist that would come in handy later during our WTF dinner on Tuesday. That evening, we shared a lively dinner at The Streetfood Club, joined by the whole Starware crew along with partners and some early-arriving customers.
Tuesday and Wednesday were all about WTF: two full days packed with energy, innovation, and inspiration. It was great to connect with customers and partners in such a dynamic setting. After wrapping up WTF on Wednesday afternoon, we made our way back to Gouda, where we kept the energy high with an evening out at IJsselhuis Gouda, Drank- En Spijslokaal for dinner, followed by pool, karaoke, and dancing at De Zalm Horeca Groep.
But the fun didn’t stop there. On Thursday, after a productive morning at the office, we headed out for a stand-up paddleboarding adventure by the hand of Jaba SUP. As it turns out, we all ended up in the Gouda canals, intentionally or not! Soaked and smiling, we wrapped up the day at @Gouwestrand with a relaxed BBQ, some volleyball, Twister, and other games, enjoying the sunshine and each other’s company.
All in all, it was a week filled with connection, laughter, creativity, and plenty of dancing. The perfect blend of work and play, and a great way to celebrate being together. Thank you to everyone who made it possible just by being there!
